“Not Knowing is the Art: The Hidden Strength in Unpredictable Paintings”

Life doesn’t hand us an easy track.
Some days, it feels like I’m still searching for my purpose while the world spins faster than I can catch it. I carry my personal dreams like fragile glass, hoping they won’t shatter, but sometimes, nothing works out the way I imagined. We talk about chasing dreams, but we rarely talk about the risks, the sleepless nights, the moments of doubt, or the quiet loneliness. I’ve learned that our past experiences hold truths worth sharing, not because they make us look strong, but because they remind us we are human. Lately, my soul has been left facing difficulties I never saw coming.
I’ve lost admiration for parts of my life I once cherished. It feels almost like a punishment for not moving with the crowd, for walking at my own pace. Some days I cry without fully knowing why; other days I just stay in my shell, away from the noise.

And yet, I know I’m not alone.
This is a shout-out to everyone moving through the same lane, the quiet fighters, the dreamers carrying heavy hearts, and the ones holding on when it would be easier to let go. We need to speak about these things—not just for ourselves, but for those who haven’t found the courage yet. Because sometimes, simply hearing “me too” is enough to keep someone going.

Through Shadows

I’ve been moving through the shadows of many thoughts, trying to face the hardest parts of my story. Some things live so deep inside me that speaking them out loud feels impossible. I’ve witnessed more financial crises than I can count—each one teaching me a new way to survive, each one forcing me to recruit different strategies just to climb a little higher. But truthfully, I don’t think of life as something you lose; it’s when you have nothing left that the loss becomes real.

There are many faces in this struggle—people standing tall but breaking inside, people holding onto hope while quietly drowning. Each of us carries a different storyline, and yet the pain is strangely familiar. We keep putting our struggles out there, as if telling them will ease the weight, but real resolution starts from the moment we acknowledge the depth of our loss.

We work endlessly—pouring in our energy, our dreams, our sleepless nights—and still, the returns feel empty. And for those of us from a country like Nigeria, hardship has become so normal that we wear it like a second skin. We have learned to feel “perfect” about a hard life, as if resilience is our only proof of worth. But the truth is, life here has made too many people tired—tired of breathing in the bad air of corruption, tired of watching opportunities pass, tired of feeling like the future is a distant rumor. Day after day, we follow the same logic: we need our daily bread, our small services, and our little comforts—just to feel a bit better, just to remind ourselves we are still alive.

Life Always Finds a Way Back

Funny, when we think about it, life has a way of circling back—sometimes with answers, sometimes with lessons we didn’t ask for. Too often, we overreact to our anger in a frenzy, moving without thought, speaking without pause. In those moments, we live under our own personal spells, trapped in patterns we don’t even see. Right now, I’m deep in my own feelings.
It’s strange—there’s light, but I still notice the shadows. The darkness doesn’t always go away; it just hides under the glow. I’ve had slow, empty moments where there’s no one to run to, and I can’t find the will to be grateful for nothing. So I keep pushing, moving, forcing myself forward. My story needs to be read—not out of pride, but because I believe it can guide others and maybe make life a little clearer in our eyes. We live in a world where it’s too easy to get busy with nothing, to run in circles that lead nowhere. I’ve changed directions several times just to find some peace.

As we grow older, the illusions begin to fade. Things become clearer, more realistic. We start to see where we’ve been pretending and where we need to be honest, with ourselves and with others. And yet, the heart still feels heavy at times.
Sadness comes in many forms: the loss of dreams, the silence of friends, the weight of expectations, and the regret of time wasted. But maybe the truth is this—life will always hand us another chance, even if it doesn’t look like the one we imagined.

Losing My Moment

There’s a part of me that still wants to believe life will stay the way I want it to be. But the truth is, change comes whether we welcome it or not. We all hold on to certain morals we think will protect us, yet sometimes we refuse to test new options, afraid of what we might lose—or who we might become. From my story on this blog, I hope one thing stands out: stay true to yourself. Your moment doesn’t have to be now. You still have work to do. Just do it, quietly, steadily, without waiting for applause. I’ve always stayed working, always chasing, but somehow I still lose my moment. Life just happens to all of us. It doesn’t wait for the right time. It doesn’t care if we’re ready.

Some days, I want to cry out. Other days, my heart feels numb, as if it has died a little. I get stuck in stagnant issues I can’t untangle. I don’t want the whole world to see me like this—fighting battles in silence, wrestling with pain I can’t explain.

But maybe that’s the hidden truth of life:
We’re all losing moments, but we’re also gaining lessons.
We’re all breaking quietly, but we’re still moving.

If you want, I can combine this with your earlier “Life Always Finds a Way Back” and “Working Through Shadows” pieces into one continuous, layered blog story so it feels like a single powerful narrative about resilience. That way, it reads like your journey instead of scattered thoughts.
